accessories, however, despite our best efforts, particularly popular
items can sell out and when this is the case, we will inform you of the
expected earliest delivery date. Please inform us should you wish to
cancel at any time.
Mail-Order Returns » [ returns@rivingtonalpine.co.uk ] ... (PLEASE CONTACT THE STORE FOR OUR NON-MAIL ORDER RETURNS POLICY) Any items which are returned for refund or exchange must be received
back at our mail order department within 14 days in a new and unused
condition and with original packing intact, along with all receipts and
the fully completed Returns Form.
The
above returns policy does not apply to the following products for
commercial reasons: Ski boots; Snowboard Boots; Ski's & Snowboards;
Bindings. For these products returns will only be accepted for
reasons of manufacturing fault. In this case we will forward the item
to the manufacturer for evaluation before any exchange is offered.
In
the case of manufacturers recall of any product Rivington Alpine will
refund monies owed to customers on receipt of credit from the
manufacturer.
In the case of
ski boots and snowboard boots Rivington Alpine strongly recommend that
the customer is fitted for boots by a qualified custom boot fitter
before purchase. Rivington Alpine will not accept returns of ski or
snowboard boots on the premise of size.
We
strongly recommend you use a recorded/insured delivery service as we
regret that we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.
Please
note that if you require goods to be sent out in exchange, we do make a
further carriage charge. Any refund will be made in the tender type
originally transacted.
Please be aware that in order to comply with Health & Safety regulations any faulty items should be returned for assessment free
from mud and dirt. We regret that we are unable to process items that
do not meet with this criteria.
Exceptions & Guarantee » Due to the very personal fitting implications inherent in the purchase
of ski and snowboard boots, we recommend that you buy these goods in
person at our store.
If
you do wish to purchase online, please make sure you have tried on the
boots instore and have identified the product as suited to your
aspirations. You must also complete our on-line checklist before the
purchase can be completed.
We
will hold our prices (errors or omisions excepted) until 1st March
2006. We reserve the right to change our prices immediately if there is
any change in the VAT rate or if there is a major change in the value
of the pound against any currencies which could affect some imported
items.
Please note that the
actual colour of some items may differ slightly from the photographic
representations shown on this internet site. Whilst we endeavour to
thouroughly test all hardware products on this site, it should be noted
that descriptions of performance and suitibility are purely subjective.
